LEAVE THE OUTSIDE WORLD. BRING YOUR CURIOSITY.

We built Hopscotch to foster curiosity, creativity and joy through art-driven experiences that inspire change. It’s a place where people from all walks of life come together to play, laugh, reflect and connect with what makes us all human.

We believe art can tell stories, illuminate important messages of the past, present and future, and bring people together in ways nothing else can. Here, artists get room to experiment with new mediums and show their work to people who will play with it.

That reaches past our walls. We put our spaces, our audience and our team behind the arts, culture and humanitarian organizations making a difference in the communities we call home.

Art is the bridge.

It connects people to each other and to the causes that need them, raising access and visibility for the work and the people who need both. None of this works without our team, our artists and our neighbors.

Every act of support ripples outward.

Words to Play by

STAY CURIOUS

Curiosity is the beginning of everything creative. It's how we stay alive to the world, and every space we create is built to reward it, from hidden corners to the details you'll only catch on your third visit. We hope you leave a little more curious than you arrived, about the world, the people around you and the wonder hiding in your everyday.

NEVER STOP PLAYING

Play isn't something we're meant to outgrow. It's how we connect, find joy and remember who we were before the world told us to grow up. Every space we create is an open invitation to let your guard down and meet your most playful self, no matter your age, and we hope you leave remembering to make time for play every day.

SUPPORT ART EVERYWHERE

The world can never have too much art, or too many people making it. That's why we support creatives of every kind, from local makers and small businesses to fellow art spaces, institutions and festivals, the weird and unexpected, the polished and provocative, and everything in between. And we hope everyone leaves Hopscotch inspired to cheer on the makers around them, seek out new ones and create something of their own.

Reaching Further.

Creating spaces where everyone belongs.

GAZE by Human Rights Campaign at Hopscotch

Play only happens when people feel safe enough to be themselves. We built Hopscotch to be that kind of space, where everyone is free to show up as their most authentic self, and we're proud to partner with the Human Rights Campaign in every location. Together we created GAZE, a rainbow LED exhibition etched with messages of love and acceptance, which has grown into a coloring book with HRC's Welcoming Schools program, a collaborative retail line and events that carry its message beyond our walls.
