Down the Rabbit Hole

Look up: Ilya Tinker’s dichroic acrylic-and-steel sculpture tumbles from above, over Alli Koch’s mural filled with hidden messages and unexpected details.

Down the Rabbit Hole Sculpture

Down the Rabbit Hole is a visual representation of the imagination tumbling into corporeal existence. Fragmented shards and eternal light assemble into a solid object, a representation of artistic expression being brought into physical form. Thoughts and dreams can only be actualized once we shine our light upon them and no two ideas are identical, just as the colors of the sculpture transform when viewed at new angles. Take a leap of faith and look up.

About the artist

Down the Rabbit Hole is what happens when two Texas artists with very different instincts share an exhibit. Alli Koch, based in Dallas, draws in bold black-and-white line work, the kind of clean graphic florals that look effortless and are not.
